Getting the word out.
Last week Usable Requirements was fortunate to be featured on the Beta List, a blog all about start-ups and new products. It had a dramatic effect on the sign ups coming in through the website – an increase of almost 1200% on the previous week. We’re hugely appreciative of Marc’s awesome blog here at Usable.
With that surge in interest we’ve made some changes in our invite and roll-out procedures. Now we’re going to be pushing new features to the app every Tuesday, and inviting rounds of users every Thursday. While we’re mad keen on getting feedback and opinions about how the application is building towards being a brilliant project management platform, we’re also aware that we need to keep things manageable. Everyone will be invited in eventually though, that’s a promise.
This week we’ve closed a deal to be featured on the new and exciting North East online magazine Epic Times, we’ve completed some new features and we’re starting on some really exciting (not to mention useful) tools to visually track change.
If you’ve not joined the Beta already, you can sign up at http://www.usablehq.com/
Alpha up, Beta soon.
We’ve been awfully quiet at Usable, but that’s no reflection on how busy we are. Certainly not!
Requirements is now a fully-fledged product with a host of exciting and innovative features that make managing your project requirements a much easier job. We’ve added real time notifications between users (always up-to-date!), tagging on everything (organising is simple!), file management with attachments to requirements and projects (handy for wireframes!), and sync’ing tasks from Basecamp, Pivotal Tracker and Asana (and more soon!). That’s on top of improvements to the requirements management and task systems we already had. It’s looking awesome already and it’s only going to get better.
There’s already a handful of Alpha users busy trying things out as we push new features on a weekly basis. If you don’t have access yet get yourself on our Beta list by signing up over at http://www.usablehq.com/ We’re going to be letting loads more people in over the next month. We hope you’re as excited as we are.
